ModalWorks ships via the United States Postal Service (USPS), United Parcel Service (UPS), or DHL. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the correct ship-to address is selected upon checkout and to ensure that the address can be serviced by USPS, UPS, or DHL. Packages returned to ModalWorks due to incorrect addressing or refusal to accept the delivery may result in additional shipping charges. ModalWorks provides shipping insurance through Guide Shipping, a third-party platform. Modalworks is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged shipments, it is the customer's responsibility to purchase insurance at checkout to avoid any of these potential problems. ModalWorks reserves the right to change the shipping service, and any changes in shipping service will follow the same or faster delivery times selected by the customer at the time of purchase.
ModalWorks does not refund postage for lost, unclaimed, or undeliverable packages. If a package is returned as undeliverable/unclaimed, it is the customer's responsibility to follow up with the postal carrier. If you added Guide Shipping Protection to your order and now are experiencing issues, please go to http://www.guidepro.io to file a claim. Once submitted a Guide representative will begin processing your claim and follow up with you via email.
International orders are subject to the receiving country's import fees, duty, taxes and/or brokerage fees. These fees are not paid to ModalWorks nor are they set by ModalWorks. Rather they are paid to and set by your home country's government as per import/export regulations and charged by your local postal carrier. Fees are due upon receipt per your local import and postal regulations. ModalWorks is not responsible for any duty/import/taxes/customs charges you may incur.
Orders are marked with the value of the item as paid by the customer in legal accordance with international postal regulations. We do not mark packages as a gift.
To falsify the amounts paid or the contents of the package on customs forms could lead to legal fines. We love what we do and will not engage in any practices that would jeopardize our ability to continue operations. Thank you for your understanding.
