Conical springs are the better geometry. Unlike conventional beehive or single-wound springs, the conical profile provides progressive rate characteristics — firmer when you need it at high lift, compliant at low lift — which translates to better valvetrain stability, especially on supercharged applications where cylinder pressure is constantly fighting the springs.
Titanium retainers cut unsprung valvetrain mass, reducing float potential at high RPM. This is the complete spring solution for any Gen 3 HEMI running an aftermarket cam or building past 700 hp.
